poster ideas/concepts

One idea I have is to work with the textures of pavement through rubbings and photographs.

I am thinking about creating a woodblock/stamp style poster that can be easily reproduced. I'd leave blank spaces for the dates, places, and times so they can be easily reproduced. I am considering this most because they run a lot of similar events, just in different locations. This way they can print as many as needed for the specific event, then save the block for later!

My concepts are going to be about intersections and people coming together. This will be shown through my own drawings and compter added text transfered and carved onto a woodblock. This also fits in with the idea of City Repair because they do everything by hand.
